This momma could have used every excuse in the book on why she couldn’t reach her weight loss goals. She’s a busy mom, wife, and acting as team mom for her kids extracurricular activities including band and volleyball. Despite her busy schedule, she meal prepped and scheduled time for her workouts. She diligently tracked her progress and critically evaluated why she wasn’t making progress some weeks.

When she felt she was nearing her goal, she started working with a fitness trainer and started focusing more on her protein intake. Her results are nothing short of amazing. By implementing concepts we discussed at each visit, she accomplished spectacular results!

On day one, this patient walked in my office and shared his goals- he was ready. His determination and commitment were clear from day one. He stayed consistent with exercise, used mindful eating concepts to control his portions and ensured that he was hitting protein goals. Despite his busy travel schedule, he made time for workouts. When he was away on travel, he would seek healthier options if he had to eat out. Consistent effort yielded amazing results!

Some professions make eating regularly and drinking all your water nearly impossible! Working twelve hour shifts leaves very little time for self care. This guy did not let anything stop him from reaching his weight loss goals. He prioritized his protein intake and ensured that he was hitting water check point goals throughout the day. When he had a spare moment in between patients, he would take a brisk walk around the floor or run a few flights of stairs. His effort resulted in some major changes!
